Prof. Dr. Ay\u015fe Erek. The PhD student will work on the project for 36 months, while the Master\u2019s student will work on the project for 7 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Project<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project investigates alternative methods and approaches centered on contemporary art in the context of opening urban architectural heritage sites to the public, tangible and intangible heritage, the adaptive reuse of post-industrial sites, and engagement with cultural heritage. Through creative practices and exhibition-making, the project problematizes issues such as pluralism and participation within public cultural policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PhD Scholarship Position<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PhD scholar will be expected to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Participate in archival research, interviews, and focus groups;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with the transcription of in-depth interviews and focus group recordings;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to the analysis of in-depth interview and focus group data;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in interpreting the findings of the two data analyses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be an active PhD student at a university in T\u00fcrkiye;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have completed a Master\u2019s thesis related to one of the following areas:\u00a0urban studies, cultural heritage, or contemporary art;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have previously participated in a research project;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have experience in archival research and fieldwork;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be proficient in MS Office and basic computer software;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a sufficient level of English to write academic articles;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reside in Istanbul.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A full-time PhD student working on the project will receive a monthly T\u00dcB\u0130TAK scholarship of&nbsp;32,500 TL. If the student is enrolled at Kadir Has University (KHAS), an additional&nbsp;15,000 TL&nbsp;contribution will be provided by Kadir Has University, bringing the total monthly scholarship to&nbsp;47,500 TL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A working PhD student who is employed full-time elsewhere will receive a monthly T\u00dcB\u0130TAK scholarship of&nbsp;8,500 TL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>*Candidates holding a Master\u2019s degree who fulfill the required application conditions may also be considered for admission to the&nbsp;PhD Program in Design, Technology and Society at Kadir Has University&nbsp;with a full scholarship, provided that they continue their studies in this program.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Master\u2019s Scholarship Position<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The full-time Master\u2019s scholar will be expected to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Participate in archival research, interviews, and focus groups;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with the transcription of in-depth interviews and focus group recordings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be an active Master\u2019s student at a university in T\u00fcrkiye;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have an interest in\u00a0urban public space, cultural heritage, and contemporary art;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be proficient in MS Office and basic computer software;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a sufficient level of English to write academic articles;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reside in Istanbul.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>*Candidates holding a Bachelor\u2019s degree who fulfill the required application conditions may also be considered for admission to the&nbsp;Master\u2019s Program in Design at Kadir Has University&nbsp;with a full scholarship, provided that they continue their studies in this program.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A full-time Master\u2019s student working on the project will receive a monthly T\u00dcB\u0130TAK scholarship of&nbsp;22,500 TL.
