It is our distinct pleasure to announce that the project coordinated by Assist. Prof. Gamze Turun\u00e7 Bayrakdar from the Department of Psychology and entitled “Gender Ideologies and Parenting: Women\u2019s Empowerment, Psychological Processes, and Relational Dynamics” has been funded by TUB\u0130TAK 3501 \u2013 Career Development Program.<\/p>\n\n
The project aims to examine the effects of gender ideologies on mothers’ and fathers’ parenting behaviors in T\u00fcrkiye, with a focus on the psychological and relational processes underlying these relationships. Through two studies, the project will investigate the links between gender ideologies, psychological well-being, women’s empowerment, couple relationships, and parenting behaviors using advanced statistical modeling approaches. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of evidence-based family policies and parenting programs.<\/p>\n\n
