Co\u015fkun and Lecturer Mehtap Do\u011fanca, featured a program that focused on exhibitions, museums, showrooms, design schools, and academies in the city&#8217;s concentrated design districts. Aspiring designers had the opportunity to observe innovations and new technologies in the international design arena, as well as to get to know design schools and designers.<\/p>\n\n<p>Activities monitored under the program;<\/p>\n\n<p>DAY 1: Duomo Cathedral, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Royal Palace, Teatro della Scala Square, Museo del Novecento (Museum of Contemporary Art), Brera Design District, Brera Academy of Fine Arts, and the \u201cInterni Mutant Architecture &amp; Design\u201d exhibition at the University of Milan campus.<\/p>\n\n<p>DAY 2: Triennale Design Museum; Triennale exhibitions comprising a total of 28 exhibitions, including the \u2018Le Fabbriche dei Sogni-Dream Factory\u2019 Contemporary Italian Design Exhibition and Teatro Dell&#8217;Arte, 3M Infinite Innovation, 100yrs of Olivari, Tecno Furniture Designs, and a selection of products from the YII Taiwan Craft Research Institute. Zona Tortona Design District.<\/p>\n\n<p>DAY 3: Tour of the Politecnico di Milano, Bovisa Faculty of Design, including observation of student work and workshops. Exchange of information and conversation with faculty members. Visits to design showrooms in the city center.<\/p>\n\n<p>DAY 4: Tour of the Salone del Mobile exhibition area at Milano Rho Fiera. Salone Satellite\u2014exhibition of products by young designers and design schools, Euroluce\u2014lighting design\u2014product exhibition area, and contemporary furniture design exhibition area.<\/p>\n\n<p>Milan is one of the most important innovation hubs in the international design world, serving as a mecca for the field. The city, a key symbol of Italy&#8217;s creative industrial production after World War II, is now not only one of the fashion capitals of the world but also a design center. Milan fulfills this dynamic mission through the annual Salone Del Mobile Furniture Fair and the exhibitions, workshops, new product launches, and promotional parties held in parallel with the fair.
