T\u00fclin Erdem is the Leonard N. Stern School Professor of Business and Professor of Marketing at the Stern School of Business, NYU. She served as the Chair of the Marketing Department at NYU-Stern between 2017-2023.<\/p>\n

Before joining Stern in 2006, she has also been the E.T. Grether Professor of Business Administration and Marketing at the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley where she served as the Marketing Group Chair, Ph.D. Program Director and the Associate Dean for Research at the Haas School.<\/p>\n

She has received best paper awards, as well major research grants, including two major National Science Foundation grants. She has served as an Area Editor, Senior Editor and Advisory Council member at several top journals. She was the editor-in-chief of the\u00a0Journal of Marketing Research <\/em>(2009-2012). She served as the President of INFORMS Marketing Society (ISMS) as well. She is also an ISMS Fellow and an Inaugural Marketing Science Institute (MSI) Academic Fellow.<\/p>\n

T\u00fclin Erdem has also served as an expert witness in several litigation cases involving trademark infringement, brand dilution, consumer confusion, Lanham Act, IP rights, etc. She was one of the expert witnesses in the Apple V. Samsung patent infringement cases, and was retained in several cases by Amazon, Google, FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and the like.<\/p>\n

T\u00fclin Erdem is currently serving as the Executive Director of MSI (Marketing Science Institute).<\/p>\n

She holds a B.A. in Economics degree from Bogazici University, Turkey; MA In Economics degree from University of Alberta, Canada\u00a0 and a PhD degree in Business Administration from University of Alberta, Canada.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
