Dr. Melis Behlil ve Radyo, Televizyon ve Sinema B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcm\u00fcz \u00d6\u011fretim G\u00f6revlisi Dr. Elif Ak\u00e7al\u0131’n\u0131n \u00fcniversitemiz ad\u0131na haz\u0131rlad\u0131klar\u0131 \u201cReviving, Boosting, Optimizing and Transforming European Film Competitiveness – REBOOT\u201d ba\u015fl\u0131kl\u0131 proje teklifi Horizon Europe Program\u0131 Cluster 2: Culture, Creative and Inclusive Societies 2022 \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131s\u0131 \u201cHORIZON-CL2-2022-HERITAGE-01-06: Increase the Potential of the International Competitiveness of the European Filmmaking Industry\u201d kapsam\u0131nda desteklenmeye hak kazand\u0131. On iki ortakl\u0131 konsorsiyum, Avusturya merkezli Universitat Wien taraf\u0131ndan koordine edilecek.<\/p>\n\n

With the main objective of providing a complete set of information on the European film industry and thus maximizing its existing strengths, the REBOOT project has 5 specific sub-objectives:<\/p>\n\n

    \n
  1. a) increase support for the participation of young people in European films;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. b) Strengthening the EU’s position in the global audiovisual economy, especially in light of the rise of Video on Demand (VOD);<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. c) Promoting cultural diversity in the EU film industry;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. d) address the need for a different understanding of competitiveness and related indicators in this context;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. e) recognize and promote the importance of film and the wider cultural and creative sector as a geopolitical asset for the EU.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    \u201c<\/strong>BUDGET IT \u2013 Building Gender Equality through Gender Budgeting for Institutional Transformation\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

    The project proposal titled \u201cBUDGET IT – Building Gender Equality through Gender Budgeting for Institutional Transformation\u201d submitted by Prof. Dr. Mary Louise \u015eim\u015fek from our Department of Political Science and Public Administration as coordinator to the Horizon Europe Framework Program European Research Area (HORIZON-WIDERA-2022-ERA-01) call was entitled to be supported.<\/p>\n\n

    BUDGET-IT aims to strengthen inclusive gender+ equality using \u201cgender+ budgeting\u201d. Our university will coordinate a consortium of nine institutions in the three-year project that aims to transform institutions in this way.<\/p>\n\n

    With the support of leading universities in Italy and Spain, the project aims to increase inclusiveness and research excellence in universities in Bosnia, Serbia and Turkey, in the context of the European Union’s enlargement policies.<\/p>\n\n

    By the end of the project, partner organizations will have produced an integrated and inclusive gender+ equality plan and gender+ budget (GEP-GB). The 36-month project has a total budget of EUR 999,235. Kadir Has University’s budget is 260.518 EUR.<\/p>\n\n

    KHAS Gender and Women’s Studies UAM Project Manager Dr. Selma De\u011firmenci, Core Program Faculty Members Dr. Nurseli Ye\u015fim S\u00fcnb\u00fclo\u011flu and Dr. Do\u011fu Durgun, and Faculty of Law Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Olgun Akbulut will take part in the project.<\/p>\n\n
