Prof. Salih B\u0131\u00e7akc\u0131 from our Department of International Relations&#8217; project titled \u201cShe4Cyber: Empowering Women in Cybersecurity\u201d was awarded a grant from the US Embassy Grant Program.<\/p>\n\n<p>The She4Cyber project aims to increase the capacity and visibility of women in the cybersecurity sector, raise awareness of gender-based discrimination in the sector and combat this discrimination. The She4Cyber project has two main objectives: To improve Turkey&#8217;s cybersecurity capacity and to increase women&#8217;s participation in the cybersecurity sector, bringing different dimensions to cybersecurity approaches and bringing new perspectives to the sector.<br\/><\/p>\n\n<p>The She4Cyber project, supported by the US Embassy Grant Program, is supported by SistersLab, a non-governmental organization that aims to raise awareness of gender equality in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) fields, and The Diana Initiative, a non-governmental organization working to improve diversity and inclusion in cyber security.<\/p>\n\n<p>We congratulate Dr. B\u0131\u00e7akc\u0131 and wish him success in his research.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Assoc.
