Prof. Dr. B\u00fclent Meng\u00fc\u00e7, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, was elected as a Full Member of the Academy of Science. After completing his undergraduate and graduate studies at Istanbul Technical University, Prof. Dr. Meng\u00fc\u00e7 graduated from Marmara University in 1994 with a PhD degree. He worked as an assistant professor at Lincoln University in New Zealand, associate professor at University of Melbourne, Brock University in Canada, and professor at King’s College-London and Leeds University in the UK. He currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration.<\/p>\n\n
His scientific work focuses on strategic marketing and market-oriented management, sales and service personnel performance enhancement factors. His article on socialization between buyers and sellers has attracted much attention in the field of operations management as well as in marketing. In addition, his research on market and technology learning models in firms has been the basis for much research in management-organization and strategic management. His work in sales and service has been widely cited in management, applied psychology, and organizational psychology journals.<\/p>\n\n
