{"id":17161,"date":"2022-10-05T15:55:00","date_gmt":"2022-10-05T12:55:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.khas.edu.tr\/?p=17161"},"modified":"2025-04-16T15:56:40","modified_gmt":"2025-04-16T12:56:40","slug":"khas-achievements-on-the-antalya-film-forum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.khas.edu.tr\/en\/khas-achievements-on-the-antalya-film-forum\/","title":{"rendered":"KHAS\u2019 Achievements on the Antalya Film Forum"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The winners of the awards were announced from the Antalya Film Forum, a joint production market and project development platform of the 59<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival organized by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality with the contributions of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the Feature Length Fictional Pitching Platform, where nine projects had competed, the jury composed of Antonio Saura, Selin Vatansever Tezcan and Teresa Hoefert de Tur\u00e9gano gave two projects the Feature Length Fictional Pitching Platform Award in the total amount of TL 80 thousand.&nbsp;One of these two projects was \u201c\u0130skeletin T\u00fcrk\u00fcs\u00fc\/The Ballad of the Skeleton\u201d&nbsp;<strong>directed by Murat U\u011furlu, a student from KHAS Film and Drama Master\u2019s Program<\/strong>, and produced by B\u00fcke Ak\u015fehirli, winning a monetary award of TL 40 thousand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Filmarka Equipment Support Award was given to the project \u201c8.Kat\/8th Floor\u201d&nbsp;<strong>directed by Tun\u00e7 \u015eahin, a part-time lecturer and mentor at KHAS Radio, Television and Cinema Department<\/strong>, and produced by Asl\u0131 Filiz and Ersan \u00c7ongar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5 projects competed on the Documentary Work-in-Progress Platform of the Antalya Film Forum. The jury composed of Aur\u00e9lien Marsais, Charlotte Reekers and Zeynep G\u00fczel gave one of the Documentary Work-in-Progress Awards in the amount of TL 40,000 to the project \u201cBasit Bir Yer\/A Simple Place\u201d,&nbsp;<strong>directed by Etna \u00d6zbek, a student from KHAS Film and Drama Master\u2019s Program<\/strong>, and produced by Burak Karamete. This project \u201cBasit Bir Yer\/A Simple Place\u201d also won the Ba\u015fka Sinema Distribution Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project \u201cTrapped Zone\u2019da 61 Dakika\/61 Minutes in Trapped Zone\u201d directed by&nbsp;<strong>Canberk Emre \u0130pek, a student from KHAS Cinema and Television Master\u2019s Program<\/strong>, and produced by Merve Tohum and Alican Acar, won the Documentary Association of Europe (DAE) Encouragement Award. We were also proud that a documentary project \u201cKavur\u201d&nbsp;<strong>directed by F\u0131rat \u00d6zeler, a student from KHAS Radio, Television and Cinema Department<\/strong>, was in the select list of this category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5 projects competed on the Series\/Mini Series Pitching Platform. These projects were assessed by the jury composed of Julia Schulte, Leticia Godinho and Yama\u00e7 Okur. \u201c\u0130yi Aile K\u0131z\u0131\/Half-Life\u201d, created by&nbsp;<strong>Tilbe Cana \u0130nan, a graduate from KHAS Cinema and Television Master\u2019s Program<\/strong>, and Kubilay Kara, and produced by Yelin Mckay, won the Netflix Grow Creative Project Development Support Award, being entitled to participate in the Netflix Turkey Serial Project Development Workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3 projects competed on the S\u00fcmer Tilma\u00e7 Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform. The jury composed of Deniz Ak\u00e7ay, Uygar \u015eirin and Zeynep Koray gave the S\u00fcmer Tilma\u00e7 Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform Award in the amount of TL 150 thousand, and the Fono Film Post Production Award to the film project \u201cKuduz\/Rabies\u201d produced by Arzu \u015eenses \u00d6ner, written and directed by&nbsp;<strong>Abdurrahman \u00d6ner, a graduate from KHAS Cinema and Television Master\u2019s Program<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The winners of the awards were announced from the Antalya Film Forum, a joint production market and project development platform of the 59th&nbsp;Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival organized by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality with the contributions of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
