Kadir Has University and Ko\u00e7 University rowing teams competed for the \u201cHali\u00e7 Friendship Cup.\u201d The 10th Hali\u00e7 Friendship Cup Race, which started in front of the Kadir Has University Cibali Campus and ended in front of the Rahmi M. Ko\u00e7 Museum, was won by the Kadir Has University rowing team.<\/h4>\n\n

Kadir Has University and Ko\u00e7 University rowing teams competed for the 10th time for friendship in the 100th year of the Republic. The Hali\u00e7 Friendship Cup rowing race started this year in front of the Kadir Has University Cibali Campus and ended in front of the Rahmi M. Ko\u00e7 Museum. Young athletes rowed an average of 36 times per minute for friendship. The team that won the 10th Hali\u00e7 Friendship Cup was the Kadir Has University rowing team with a score of 7 minutes and 17 seconds.<\/p>\n\n

The young people who came together on Saturday, October 28 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic with sports and friendship completed their final preparations for the 2,100-meter course. In the race that started in front of the Kadir Has University Cibali Campus at 10:00 and ended in front of the Rahmi M. Ko\u00e7 Museum, the Kadir Has University team consisted of coach Burkay G\u00fcnay and helmsman Melike \u0130dil \u00c7al\u0131\u015fkan, while Necmi Batuhan Acar, G\u00f6rkem Teko\u011flu, Metehan Kara, Emirhan Y\u0131ld\u0131r\u0131m, Emre Keklik, Enver Erman, Berkay \u00d6zt\u00fcrk and Murat Alp Yard\u0131m rowed. The Ko\u00e7 University rowing team consisted of coach Yal\u00e7\u0131n Fidanc\u0131, helmsman Toprak Ata K\u0131vrak, Salihcan Kahraman, Ahmet Deniz Ayd\u0131n, Nejat I\u015f\u0131k, Mahmut Yusuf G\u00fc\u015fl\u00fc, Onur Sapmaz, Cem Berk G\u00f6rm\u00fc\u015f, Furkan Polat and Emir Sayg\u0131l\u0131.<\/p>\n\n

Prof. Dr. Sondan Durukano\u011flu Feyiz: \u201cMy greatest wish is for this friendship cup to continue throughout the next decades of the Republic.\u201d<\/h4>\n\n

Kadir Has University President Prof. Dr. Sondan Durukano\u011flu Feyiz said in his speech at the ceremony, \u201cI would like to thank Ko\u00e7 University and Kadir Has University rowing team students who presented the best example of celebrating the 100th anniversary of our Republic. My greatest wish is for this friendship cup between the two universities to continue for the next decades of the Republic. Our friendship is eternal, but it is very nice and proud to win the cup once again in my fifth year.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

Prof. Dr. Metin Sitti: \u201cI am very pleased to be a part of such a beautiful event in this month when we celebrate the 100th anniversary of our Republic and the 30th anniversary of our university.\u201d<\/h4>\n\n

Speaking at the award ceremony, Ko\u00e7 University President Prof. Dr. Metin Sitti said, \u201cIt is great to be a part of this sports event that has celebrated very important values \u200b\u200bsuch as sportsmanship and discipline for 10 years\u2026 I am also very pleased to be a part of such a beautiful event in this month when we celebrate the 100th anniversary of our Republic and the 30th anniversary of our university.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
