The project titled \u201cWho is the Audience of Digital Platform Productions in Turkey, What Do They Watch, How Do They Watch?\u201d by Dr. Lecturer \u0130rem \u0130nceo\u011flu, one of our academicians from the Department of Public Relations and Publicity, has been awarded support within the scope of the T\u00dcB\u0130TAK 3005 \u2013 Innovative Solutions in Social and Human Sciences Program. <\/p>\n\n
This project focuses on the changing usage habits, experiences and reception styles of today’s audience with the proliferation of digital platforms and examines the ways in which audiences engage with digital platforms and the content produced within these platforms. Within the scope of this research, the interactions of membership-based digital platforms, which have become rapidly widespread and increasing in number in Turkey in the last five years, with the audience, the reception of original local productions produced by the audience and the relationship the audience establishes with these texts will be analyzed. In this way, this study aims to conceptualize the texts offered by digital platforms in terms of new viewing and interaction styles within the scope of audience research. <\/p>\n\n
