The main duty of the expert staff of the Project Development Office is to support Kadir Has University academics in developing projects for research and education. In this context, our experts follow current national and international financial support programs, organize training, workshops and panels on the subjects that academics need and prepare academics to apply for project programs. They provide one-on-one technical support, expertise and refereeing to faculty members and researchers during the project development phase, organize internal panels and conduct the application process together with academics.<\/p>

Internal Panel Evaluation Program and Doctoral Thesis Proposal Research\u00a0Project Program<\/span><\/h2>

The Project Development Office conducts two important programs specific to Kadir Has University: Internal Panel Evaluation Program and Doctoral Thesis Proposal Research Project Program.<\/p>

In the Internal Panel Evaluation Program\u00a0<\/span><\/b>a panel consisting of at least three academics is formed for the project proposals prepared by researchers. Project evaluators and project owners are present in the panel. The aim is to strengthen the proposed projects in line with the opinions of the panelist referees.<\/p>

Withinthe scope of the Doctoral Thesis Proposal Research Project Program\u00a0<\/span><\/b>it is aimed for doctoral students to gain basic competencies such as being able to recognize concepts related to research projects such as originality, purpose, literature-based needs analysis, target, impact and result, and being able to write, criticize and evaluate a research project. This process has been developed under the course \u201cDoctoral Seminar and Research Proposal Development\u201d.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The areas of responsibility of the Project Development Office can be summarized as\u00a0<\/b><\/span>follows:<\/b><\/p>

  1. \u00a0<\/span> <\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 To regularly follow up national and international funds and inform relevant academicians.<\/span><\/p>

    2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>To make call matching compatible with the areas of expertise of KHAS researchers.<\/span><\/p>

    3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>To provide support for project writing; in addition to formal checks, to ensure the control and development of the conformity of the writing language, technical requirements, statistical data support, compliance with the call text, literature research, originality, method, management and risks.<\/span><\/p>

    4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>To organize an internal panel with the participation of relevant academicians to check the conformity of written projects with the requirements and to make a preliminary assessment of the content.<\/span><\/p>

    5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>To ensure that project applications are submitted correctly and on time to the relevant application system, and to provide technical support during the application process.<\/span><\/p>

    6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>To conduct the contract processes of supported national and international projects.<\/span><\/p>

    7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>To provide training to academicians and doctoral students on project development.<\/span><\/p>

    8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>To identify new research funding sources and share these sources with researchers.<\/span><\/p>

    9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>To encourage researchers to write projects and develop relevant mechanisms.<\/span><\/p>

    10. <\/span>To conduct preliminary evaluations of doctoral students’ thesis\/project proposals (or project proposals developed in the context of compulsory seminar courses) and to conduct panel processes.<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ol>
