The MEDNIGHT<\/a> project, in which different organizations from seven countries (Spain, Italy, Greece, Greek Cyprus, Turkey, France and Belgium) including Turkey came together to develop a strategy for the dissemination of Mediterranean Science, is hosting simultaneous events in all participating countries on September 29, 2023. Areas are being set up in each city where visitors can both learn about the latest scientific studies in different countries and participate in workshops. The Istanbul leg of the events will be held at the Museum Gazhane on Friday, September 29, 2023, between 11:00-20:00, hosted by Kadir Has University.<\/p>\n\n

Visitors who will enjoy scientific monologues, theatrical performances, experiments and other formats specially designed to show the benefits of Mediterranean Science to society in an entertaining, pedagogical and meticulous way will be able to listen to the speeches of valuable researchers who continue their work in thematic areas such as \u201cSea and Pollution\u201d, \u201cClimate Change and Clean Energy Sources\u201d, \u201cDiet and Nutrition\u201d, \u201cLife and Health\u201d and visit the successful women researchers exhibition. The event, which also includes special workshops and story recitals for children, will inspire future scientists.<\/p>\n\n

The MEDNIGHT Mediterranean Researchers’ Night European Union project in Turkey is coordinated by Kadir Has University Computer Engineering Department Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Taner Arsan, and its administrative coordinators are Mervenur G\u00fcrb\u00fcz and Hazal Mengi.<\/p>\n\n
