He graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Computer Engineering in 1990. Between 2000 and 2001, he completed his master&#8217;s degree in Business Administration at Ba\u015fkent University. He is currently pursuing his PhD in banking at Istanbul Commerce University. Mr. Aran started his career as a Software Specialist in \u0130\u015fbank&#8217;s IT System Operations department in 1990, and became the Head of the IT Solution Development Department in 2005 and was promoted to Assistant General Manager in 2008. On April 1, 2021, he was appointed as the 17th Chief Executive Officer of \u0130\u015fbank.<\/p>\n\n<p>Responsible for information technologies, digital banking operations and data management, Mr. Aran played a key role in \u0130\u015fbank&#8217;s digital transformation.
