Title of the 15th Public Lecture to be held from October 12, 2022 to January 11, 2023: World Literature Online: Universal Poetry, in Wide Time and Wide Geography. Classes will be held on Wednesdays from 20:00-22:00.

The course is open to everyone. Active participation and study are required for class attendance. Participation in Zoom lectures, weekly assignments, class writings, exams, and term papers are absolutely necessary. Lectures and readings will be in Turkish. For participation in the course, you should apply to https://acik-ders.khas.edu.tr. Your application will be answered within 6 hours.
For those accepted and enrolled in the course, there is a non-refundable registration fee of 500 TL, which must be paid immediately upon acceptance. The course is expected to fill up very quickly.
Weekly homework and class writing: Each week there will be a graded assignment and class writing. Term paper: On the biographical, political, social and cultural context of the poems. There will be mid-term and final exams. Grade contributions: Weekly assignments 20%, weekly exams 25%, term paper 10%, midterm 20%, final exam 25%.
Successful participants will receive a Certificate of Distinction or Certificate of Achievement in Turkish and English. Recipients of the Certificate of Outstanding Achievement may be referred and/or a letter of recommendation may be written in Turkish and English.
