Project Support to KHAS from Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Program

The project proposal titled “CyberMACS- Master of Applied Cybersecurity” submitted by Prof. Dr. Hasan Dağ, faculty member of the Department of Management Composition Systems, as coordinator to the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters-2022 Call has been awarded.
CyberMACS is designed as a full-time 2-year joint European Master’s Program (120 ECTS) focusing on the field of applied cyber security. The program focuses on training future cybersecurity experts to detect, prevent, mitigate and manage cyber-attacks. In the first year, students will be trained in the fundamentals of cybersecurity at Kadir Has University, while the second year will provide opportunities for specialization. In their second year, students will receive their (1) Cyber Security Management, (2) Advanced Technologies in Cybersecurity specializations at SRH- Berlin University of Applied Sciences, while (3) Cyriptology and (4) Web and Security specializations at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University.
Throughout the program, students will receive training to develop entrepreneurship, innovation management and soft skills, as well as winter and summer schools, international student conferences and mandatory internships.
CyberMACS invites the best students from around the world who want to specialize in cybersecurity, and our university will be the coordinator of the eight-institution consortium.
The 74-month project has a total budget of EUR 5,484,000. Kadir Has University
