Prof. Dr. Assist. TÜBİTAK ARDEB 1001 Project Support to Aslı Togan Eğrican

Dr. Aslı Togan Eğrican, one of our academicians from the Department of International Trade and Finance, has written a research paper titled “Developing tennis sports in Turkey: Developing tennis sports in Turkey. Prof. Dr. Aslı Togan Eğrican’s project titled “Development of tennis sport in Turkey: Determination of the determinants of elite athlete training with econometric and machine learning models and policy recommendations” has been entitled to be supported within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1001 – Sports Research Call.

This project aims to develop a model for the advancement of tennis in Turkey and the training of elite athletes and to identify priority areas for policy recommendations. In the project, statistical modeling will be performed and three different models will be created using international comparative data (panel data).

In the project, Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Arif Selçuk is involved in the project as a Student Researcher. We congratulate Aslı and wish her success in her research.
