Papers from the 1st GenderEx International Conference on Excellence in Research Collected in a Book
The book, which brings together the papers presented at the 1st International Conference on Excellence in Research, organized within GenderEx – Gender for Excellence in Research, a three-year project funded by the European Union Horizon 2020, has been published.

In partnership with Kadir Has University as the coordinator from Turkey, University of Genova from Italy, Lund University from Sweden and Dublin Technical University from Ireland, this project aims to draw attention to the importance of including gender and gender considerations in all areas and stages of academic research in terms of networking, knowledge exchange and implementation of best practices.
The papers and abstracts presented at the 1st International Conference on Excellence in Research, hosted by Kadir Has University on June 18-19, 2022, provide us with a broad overview of how individuals have incorporated a gender perspective into their research. For some of the authors, this journey started with the Gender School organized within the project in October 2021 and continued until the conference.
