How can I obtain my University entrance card?

You can get it from Security Affairs Office at A Block entrance.

Does your university provide a Mavi Card for transportation?

Yes, IETT (Mavi Card) opportunity is provided for the academic personal of our university to benefit from public transportation.

You can make your blue card application with Belbim A.Ş application centers [1 (one) photo and identity card] and to load your subscription balance. Please e-mail the number on the back of your blue card or teacher or student card until your date of employment to  [email protected] and [email protected] .

Accordingly, the Blue Card Subscription balance (180 prints) will be loaded on your card every month, and it will be sufficient to have your card read by the relevant Biletmatik Device after the e-mail received by the Operations Office every month.

We would like to point out that our academicians who benefit from the Mavi Card facility will not be able to benefit from our car park service.

What should I do if I lose my university entrance card?

What should I do in my short or long-term assignment requests to participate in domestic or abroad (events, lectures, academic studies, etc.)?

Long-term leave requests: Your request, which is notified to the Rectorate by your relevant unit, is submitted to the University Administrative Board.

In BAF or University Budget Requests: For long-term permits, it will be sufficient to fill out the Travel Request Form in the MyKhas System and add your invitation letter and submit your petition to the relevant department.

Short-term Leave Requests: It is sufficient for the relevant unit to notify the Rectorate with a cover letter of conformity.

How can I request a Employment Certificate or Service Certificate?

You can request an Employment or Service Certificate in English or Turkish via sending an e-mail to [email protected].

How can I apply for a Green Passport?

If the academics working in the faculty members have completed 15 years of service (provided that they also document their period of service outside the institution), they can e-mail to [email protected] or [email protected] stating that they have requested a green passport form. 

How can I update my contact information and address information registered at your university?

You can e-mail your updated contact information to [email protected].

How can I create a leave demand and what are the types of leave that I can use?

You can create your leave requests from the Forms > My Leaves > Create Leave Request” from the Forms section on MyKHAS.

Leave Types:

1. Annual Leave

Sabbatical leave is given to the personnel who have worked in the institution for at least one year.

The annual paid leave period to be given to the personnel;
a) 1 year from up to 5 years (5 years included) 14 days ,
b) More than 5 years, less than 15 years, 20 days,
c) It cannot be less than 26 days for those who are 15 years (inclusive) and more.

If you have not completed a one-year working period, you can use an advance leave.

The signed hard copy of the approved annual leave form should be printed from MyKhas and should be submitted to the Directorate of Human Resources.

2. Marriage Leave

You can create your 3 working days marriage leave request within the scope of paid social leaves by choosing the Marriage Leave option from “Forms > My Leaves > Create Leave Request > New Leave Type”.

On the same page, you must add “your invitation or marriage certificate” from the “File” section.

3. Maternity Leave (Unpaid)

Unpaid leave is submitted to the department secretary with a petition and it is decided by the University Administrative Committee. The permissions approved by the University Administrative Committee. Annual Leave allowancing period is postponed until the unpaid leave day to be used. (Annual Leave allowance date + Unpaid leave used period = New annual leave allowance date).

4. Prenatal Leave (Report)

32. Week Maternity Leave:

Workable Report: If you work until the 37th week, you can get your work report from your doctor and upload it to the mykhas system.

Disabled Report: You can upload your report to the Mykhas system and go on maternity leave.

5. Post-natal Leave (Report)

the latest after the birth. The received report is uploaded to the system, permission is requested from the system. Post-natal leave is approved through the system. The printout of the leave form is signed and forwarded to the Directorate of Human Resources.

Post-natal; You need to send approval by selecting My Leaves > Create Leave Request > Leave Type > Post-natal Leave (Report) and upload your birth report via MyKHAS.

(If the documents are submitted, the Directorate of Human Resources can also enter to the system.)

The start date is the date written on the incapacity certificate.

6. Maternity Leave (Day’s Leave)

In case of pregnancy and maternity, the provisions of the Labor Law No. 4857 and Kadir Has University Directive on Pregnancy, Maternity and Breast-Feeding Leave ant Temporary Disability. After the end of the maternity leave, the employee who gives birth can use the maternity leave on a day’s / hourly basis, until the baby turns 2 (two) years old.

7. Paternity Leave

You can use paternity leave within the scope of paid social leave for 10 working days if your spouse gives birth, by documenting an excuse within the framework of the provisions of the Labor Law No. 4857.

8. Mourning Leave

You can use of the provisions of the Labor Law No. 4857, in case of the death of the first degree relative (mother, father, husband, child, sibling) of the personnel, you can use 3 working days within the scope of paid social leave.

9. Accompanying Leave

Provided that it is used by only one of the working parents, based on the illness report, in the treatment of at least seventy percent of the staff’s disabled or chronic illness, or in the case of a mother, father, spouse, children and one of their siblings, or in case of a long-term illness. may take up to 10 days of sabbatical leave during the year, either in bulk or in parts.

What should I do after getting my work permit in Turkey?

You must go to the Directorate of Fatih Population with the documents listed below and register your residence address in the address system within 20 days:

Yes, you can get an Istanbul Card from IETT centers (1 photo) of our full-time lecturer registered with YÖKSİS.

I forgot my YÖKSİS login password, how can I find out?

You can request a password reset by sending an e-mail to the Directorate of Human Resources at [email protected].

What can I do to take part as a supervisor in ÖSYM and Correspondence school?

We can ensure your registration by sending an e-mail to the Directorate of Human Resources at [email protected].

From whom can I get information about private health insurance?

You can get information regarding Private Health Insurance by e-mailing [email protected] (Financial Affairs Office).

According to the Labor Law No. 4857, how can I use the notice period and to which unit should I write my resignation letter?

You can write your resignation letter to the relevant unit you work for, including your notice period.

  • For a working period of fewer than 6 months; 2 weeks,
  • For a working period between 6 months and 1.5 years; 4 weeks,
  • For a working period between 1.5 to 3 years; 6 weeks,
  • For a working period of more than 3 years, it is used for 8 weeks.
