Call for Participation for Research Project Preparation Workshop in Social Sciences

The Workshop on Research Project Preparation in Social Sciences, organized in collaboration with Kadir Has University and TUBITAK, aims to transfer the knowledge and experience required for the preparation of more competent research projects in the field of social sciences research in Turkey, to provide feedback to the projects under development and to increase their success in project markets.

This workshop is open to academics who have completed or are completing their PhD in social sciences and are interested in receiving training on project preparation. It will include presentations and discussions on (1) conceptualization, (2) project design, (3) budgeting and (4) execution of research projects in a track led by experienced researchers.

Those interested in participating in this intensive project development program are requested to send their CV and research project proposal (max. 5 pages, including topic, scope, literature and methodology sections) to 2237Eylul2022@gmail.com by August 10, 2022 at the latest.

Since participation will be limited, evaluations will be made according to the order of application. Participants will be informed on August 15, 2022.

Participants who are accepted to the workshop and who will come from outside Istanbul (invoiced transportation and accommodation support will be provided at the end of the workshop (1 TL per km for transportation from their city to Istanbul, max. 600 TL and 250 TL per night of accommodation). In addition, the workshop will be held at KHAS campus for 3 full days and lunch and coffee support will be provided.
