2021-2022 Academic Year Spring Semester Final Examination Schedules
Kadir Has University and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) are collaborating on a very important project for the qualified education and employment of young women.
The “Women Software Developer Training Program”, implemented by IBB Human Resources and Training Department, aims to bring 100 women software developers to the information technologies sector in the 100th anniversary of our Republic.
For these free trainings, which can be applied by associate degree and undergraduate graduates who want to direct their careers in the field of informatics, IBB sent 30 female software developer candidates to Kadir Has University after a three-stage evaluation and the trainings started on Monday, December 12, 2022.
In the first week of the training at Kadir Has University, which will contribute to the trained human resources needed by the technology sector and will last 500 hours in total, “Informatics World Career and Introduction to Computer Programming” courses will be given by the academicians of our Management Information Systems department under the chairmanship of our Vice Rector and R&D Resources Director Prof. Dr. Hasan Dağ. Starting from the second week, students will receive a total of 450 hours of “Applied Computer Programming” training for 15 weeks.
“As Kadir Has University, we are signing an important cooperation with IBB through the Women Software Developer Training Program that will provide equal opportunities in the field of education and employment to the young women of our country,” said Prof. Dr. Hasan Dağ and continued his words as follows “We are happy to support the project as this training program has parallels with our White Doves Scholarship Program, which is carried out at our university and is offered to all students of Turkey, primarily female students, who are successful but have limited economic conditions.”
