SPORTS MEDIA CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
Mission:
In the new millenia, Sports Media sector is one of the most important parts of the whole media sector. For this reason, this sector needs qualified personel more and more everyday.
Turkey has a football industry which already exceeded 500 million Euros and growing rapidly. Sports Media has an important role and responsibility at this growth. There are more than 70 hours of TV programs weekly about various sports and more than 100 pages of sports news at the daily national newspapers. Sports Law Research Center continues to support this huge sector by opening our fifth Sports Media Certificate Program for the 2011-2012 academic year.
Lecturers:
There will be many distinguished guests such as UEFA Vice President Şenez Erzik and President of the UEFA Public Relations and Communications Department William Gaillard. Also many influential writers and reporters of Turkish sports media lectures at our program in order to find new talents who can create a difference and prove themselves worthy in the sports media industry.
For Whom?
Our program is open to everybody who wants to work or to get experience at media institutions and press-public relations departments within the industry.
SPORTS MEDIA CERTIFICATE PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Start and Finish Dates: 10 December 2011 – 15 April 2012
Lecture Hours:
Weekends (Saturday - Sunday) between 10:00 and 14:00
Total class hours are 120 hours (15 weeks x 8 hours)

Quota: 50 Person
Price: 2.750 TL
The payment can be divided into installments if paid by credit card.
The payment will be made during the final registration period (26 November – 8 December 2011) at the Cibali Cambus where the classes will be held.

Entrance Exam:
Due to the huge demand that our program had, in order to register to our program, applicants must pass an ‘Entrance Examination’. First 20 successful students will receive various scholarship opportunities from our sponsors. After the examination results were announced, the first 50 people will have the right to register to our program. If anybody in the first 50 decides not to apply, we will accept registrations starting from the 51st successful student at our exam. Applicants to the program has to be a university graduate or still continuing their university education. (This exam will be held in Turkish)
Entrance fee of the exam has to be paid to the account number shown below, and the receipt has to be faxed to +90 (0212) 534 0965 or brought personally on the exam day.
Exam Type: 35 multiple-choice questions and 2 essay questions
Exam Topics: Sports culture, the structure and history of national and international sports organizations, basic Turkish grammar
