SPORTS LAW AND MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
Mission:
Everyday, sports, especially football, is getting more and more profesional and the sports industry is getting bigger and bigger. Parallel to this growth, a demand is rising for qualified and well trained professionals working on sports law and sports management aeras. In order to meet this demand, Kadir Has University Sports Law Research Center provides the Sports Law and Management Certificate Program to educate sports lawyers and sports managers.
Sports Law and Management Certificate Program which is supported by the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey (TKYD), is the first and only program in Turkey that provides an education on both sports law and sports management areas. In the 2011-2012 academic year, our program will be lead by Dr. Levent Bıçakçı.
For Whom?
Our program is open to everybody who wants to improve himself/herself at sports law and sports management areas and to make an academic or a professional career.
SPORTS LAW AND MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATE PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Start and Finish Dates: 10 December 2011 – 22 April 2012
Class Hours:
Weekends (Saturday - Sunday) between 10:00 and 14:00
Total class hours will be 120 hours (15 weekends x 8 hours).

Quota: 80 Person
Price: 2.750TL
The payment can be divided into installments if paid by credit card.
The payment will be made during the final registration period (26 November – 8 December 2011) at the Cibali Cambus where the classes will be held.
There is a 20% discount for intern lawyers, Turkish Football Federation and GSGM employees, teachers and academic staff, undergraduate/graduate/PhD students and licensed athletes.

Scholarship Exam:
Our sponsors will provide various scholarship opportunities to the applicants. In order to benefit from scholarship, appliccants has to attend the scholarship exam on 26th of November at 10.00. (Scholarship exam is not mandatory to apply for the certificate program.)
Entrance fee of the exam has to be paid to the account number shown below, and the receipt has to emailed to shaum@khas.edu.tr or brought the Research Center Office.
Exam Type: 35 multiple-choice questions and 1 essay question
Exam Topics: Relevant Laws and Regulations on Sports, the structure of national and international sports organizations (TFF, UEFA, FIFA, CAS, etc.), contemporary sports law and management issues
