The Khas Advertising department has begun to reap the rewards of their work: They have received four prestigious awards. Yiğit Korkmaz and Oytun Yönyüksel have been selected for inclusion in the Cannes Lions Creativity Festival following their success in the Arçelik “If I do it” competition.
In the “University Media Junior” category of Open Air Advertising A Awards, Doğan Ertekin, İsmail Çobanoğlu, Eren Kılınç, Buse Kaya and Nihan Barlas won the first prize and 7000 TL, while the team comprising İlknur Çelik, Hazal İmge Uçar, Sinem Zor and New Media department student Zeynep Yılmaz received the second prize and 5000 TL.
The Khas Advertising Workshop continued its annual tradition of making our University proud with their achievements at the Genç Kırmızı (Young Red Awards) this year as well. 138 applications from 157 teams consisting of a total of 321 students from 42 faculties took part and three works by our students Erkan Batuk-Kübra Uyanık (Çıraklıktan Ustalığa), Doğan Ertekin-Merve Yapıcı (Patlamamış Mısır), Ozan Demirdelen-Onur Tireng (Yeniyetmen) became finalists at the contest.
At the awards ceremony Ozan Demirdelen and Onur Tireng received the second prize at the Young Red Awards.
