Following a successful collaboration in May 2013 and 2014, Harvard Kennedy School will continue its relationship with Kadir Has University through its “Strategic Management for Leaders of Nongovernmental Organizations” Executive Education Program.
The “Strategic Management for Leaders of Nongovernmental Organizations” Executive Education Program will be offered at the Cibali campus of Kadir Has University in Istanbul, Turkey on 10 – 15 May 2015. This five day program gives nonprofit and NGO leaders the tools, perspectives, and frameworks needed to strengthen leadership of their organizations, engage constituent communities, and cultivate long-term partnerships. Through cutting edge research, case studies, and presentations tailored to the unique needs of NGOs, this program provides the skills NGO leaders need to develop and implement strategies to increase value to their community and constituents. The program is taught by Harvard faculty and researchers utilizing the case method, a tool pioneered at Harvard and used extensively in Harvard Kennedy School degree programs and Executive Education.
This program was created specifically for nonprofit and NGO leaders and government officials and business leaders who have responsibility for interfacing with civil society. It is held off-site in order to be able to reach an international community of participants for whom travel to the United States is difficult.
Located on the shores of the Golden Horn in an area of Istanbul particularly rich in history, Kadir Has University is ideally suited to the dynamics of today’s world as a center for research and education.
Applications are now being accepted for the “Strategic Management for Leaders and Nongovernmental Organizations” Executive Education Program, and early application is strongly encouraged. Deadline for applications is 10 March 2015. The application of Turkish participants is strongly encouraged.
