The 13th International Security Conference titled “Turkey's Security in the 21st Century: Established Structures, Emerging Opportunities and Evolving Challenges” will be held on 14 – 15 October 2011 at Kadir Has University (Cibali Auditorium – Cibali Campus). The Conference will begin at 14:00 on Friday, 14 October.
The Conference is co-organized by the ARI Movement, NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, the Center for International and European Studies and the International Relations Council of Turkey.
The conference will consist of four panels entitled (i) “Security in Turkey’s Region: Old Neighbors, New Challenges for Stability”, (ii) “Continuity or Change? The Future of Turkey-Euro-Atlantic Ties”, (iii) “Turkey’s Role in an Arab World in Transition: Mediator or Enforcer,” (iv) “Security in New Terms: Emerging Security Challenges (Cyber, Energy, Maritime)” and a Roundtable Dinner discussion at the conclusion of the conference.
Simultaneous translation for Turkish and English will be provided.
