Design Graduate Program second year student and Marie Curie DesignHEALS Research Project Assistant Ms. Ece Altinbasak was selected among hundreds of applicants to receive the Fulbright Grant to pursue her doctoral studies at USA.
Ece Altınbaşak was graduated from Çukurova University at 2009 and accepted to Design Graduate Program, that was opened the same year. Ece is interested in participatory design of playgrounds and physical activity of children and has been working closely with her thesis advisor Assistant Prof. Dr. Orçun Kepez. Ece presented preliminary findings of her research at 42nd Annual International Conference of Environmental Design Research Association, which was held a month ago at Chicago. Ece will continue her full-time position at DesignHEALS Research Group and work with Dr. Kepez on publications until her leave to a doctoral program at United States.
With her early achievement prior application to American doctoral programs, there is no doubt that Ece will be accepted to a prestigious doctoral program at USA.
