With the support of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Istanbul Research Center at Kadir Has University, graduate students from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation are working on a revitalization project for the Golden Horn.

The project aims to rejuvenate the urban geography of the Golden Horn coastline through the development of sustainable strategies of local habitation. The project extends from Ataturk Bridge to the Golden Horn Bridge, and incorporates the Cibali campus of Kadir Has University.

For one week starting on March 11, the group held meetings and workshops together with delegates from Kadir Has University, in addition to carrying out surveys of the local area and conducting terrain studies.
