KHAS’ Success in TÜBİTAK 2232 International Fellowship for Outstanding Researchers Programme
29 March 2022
In order to contribute to projects in research fields that are of strategic importance for our country within the scope of the program, particularly Turkish scientists who have come to the fore with top-level scientific or technological achievements in their fields and who have the experience to work in an international environment, to conduct their research in Turkey, and to provide support for them to pursue their work in leading state or foundation universities, research infrastructures deemed competent, public research institutes, private sector companies.
The results of the TÜBİTAK BİDEB 2232 International Leading Researchers Program, opened in 2021, have been announced.
For 2021, our university submitted fourproject applications (3 from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences and one from the Faculty of Law). All of them were entitled to be supported, with 100% success in this application period, as in the first period.
We sincerely congratulate our professors Kyriaki Noussia, Mine Stroppa, Yasemin Önder, and Fabio Stroppa, who have made our university proud of this program, which was implemented to accelerate the reverse brain drain, and wish them continued success.
