KHAS Directorate of Creative Industries Platform Signs Cooperation Protocol with Ministry of Culture and Tourism

On July 6, 2021, a protocol was signed in Ankara in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Kadir Has University Directorate of Creative Industries Platform to increase knowledge on copyright and property activities.
This cooperation protocol has emerged due to the consultations of the Copyright Training Center established within the Ministry and the relevant universities’ research and development units in intellectual property rights, culture industry, and cultural policies. The protocol aims to increase the level of copyright knowledge in Turkey, expand the educational activities carried out on this subject, and train the information and human resources about copyright.
Within the scope of the protocol, it is envisaged to cooperate on topics such as academic and technical cooperation in intellectual property and creative culture industries, mutual knowledge and experience transfer, joint data and resource use, joint education, and preparation of academic publications.
The ceremony was attended by Özgül Özkan Yavuz, Deputy Minister for Culture and Tourism and Sondan Durukanoğlu Feyiz, KHAS Rector as well as Prof. Dr. Ahmet Serper, Hacettepe University Acting Rector, Prof. Dr. Ali Murat Ferman, Rector of Beykent University and Prof. Dr. Murat Askar, Rector of Izmir University of Economics Rector.
