The Center for International and European Studies (CIES) will hold the opening session of the Greek-Turkish Young Leaders Symposium on Security on Wednesday, 14 December between 13:30 and 16:00 at the Galata Auditorium of Kadir Has University’s Cibali Campus.
The Department of International Relations at Kadir Has University in cooperation with NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division, The Ankara Policy Centre, Firedrich Naumann Stiftung,The Bosphorus Energy Club, and The Center for International and European Studies (CIES) will hold the Second Kadir Has University International Relations Conference on “The Post-Soviet Space after 25 years of Independence: Understanding Political and Systemic Dynamics, and Risks” on 13-14 October 2015 at Kadir Has University, Istanbul (Cibali Auditorium).
Kadir Has University organised a Jean Monnet summer school on the “EU and Security in the Wider Neighbourhood” which was held between 20 June-1 July 2016 in Istanbul-Turkey. The Module was delivered with the support of the Erasmus + Programme of the European Union.
The Survey of Social-Political Trends in Turkey, conducted every year in December by Kadir Has University, continues to reflect changes in public opinion in the country. According to the survey, in 2015, people saw terror and unemployment as the most serious problems and with regard to current discussions of a “presidential system”, expressed a preference for parliamentary democracy and a unitary state system.
1st Kadir Has University conference on International Relations to be held on 22 October to Saturday, 24 October on campus. The theme of the conference is Two Hundred Years since the Congress of Vienna: The State of International Relations as a Discipline and Alternative World Views.
