Apply for GenderEX Project Gender School II/2022

Gender School II /2022 will take place at Kadir Has University on September 7-11, 2022.

The Horizon 2020 project funded “GenderEX: Gender for Excellence in Research” (GenderEX), coordinated by the Kadir Has University Gender and Women’s Studies Research Center, began in January 2021. The general aim of GenderEX is to encourage the integration of a sex/gender perspective in all areas of research by focusing on Early-Stage Researchers (ESRs) conducting research in Turkey, especially Kadir Has University researchers.

 This fall, Gender School will take place September 7-11, 2022, at Kadir Has University, both in-person and online. Gender School is an intensive five-day program that will teach how to integrate a sex/gender perspective in their research from international faculty members and experts in gender. The program includes case studies, workshops, and a roundtable of national funding agencies from Turkey, Ireland, Italy, and Sweden. At the end of this 5-day program, the participants will be able to integrate an intersectional sex/gender dimension into their research and funding proposals.

This free training will allow you to clarify your research question and network with other researchers from Ireland, Italy, Turkey, and Sweden. Those who complete the program will be given certificates of participation.
