With a sense of responsibility towards our planet and the right to a healthy environment, Kadir Has University Faculty of Law found the “Climate Change and Law Laboratory”! CCLLAB will start series of events on legal aspects of Climate Change.
The main event will be consisted of monthly organized seminars by hosting worldwide known experts, namely “Climate Change and Law Seminars.” Roundtables on these issues will follow every four seminars. These roundtables aim to discuss Turkish Law aspects of the topic, raise awareness, and contribute to the relevant evolving Turkish Law policies in light of the fundamental findings of the previous lectures.
At the launching seminar of CCLLAB, an internationally renowned expert in the field, Prof. Dr. Christina Voigt, will give a speech on “Current Issues of International Climate Law.” Professor Voigt is Chair of the IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law (WCEL) and Co-chair of the Paris Agreement Implementation and Compliance Committee.
