We are very happy to have Per Engzell from Oxford University at KHAS Economics Webinars. Dr. Per Engzell is a sociologist and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science, University of Oxford. Previously he held the Prize Research Fellowship at Nuffield College, University of Oxford, and has a PhD from the Swedish Institute for Social Research, where he remains affiliated. His research focuses on intergenerational mobility and how culture, technology, and institutions interact to shape economic prospects in the long run. He is particularly interested in novel sources of “big” data, including digitized historical Censuses and modern-day administrative registers.
