Mine Saraç Stroppa, who started to work as a visiting academic member at KHAS Mechatronics Engineering, received her Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Yeditepe University (2011, Istanbul, Turkey), MSc degree in Mechatronics at Sabancı University (2013, Istanbul, Turkey), and PhD degree in Perceptual Robotics at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (2017, Pisa, Italy).
During her PhD, she joined Multimodal Simulation Lab at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos as a visiting researcher (2016, Madrid, Spain). After receiving her PhD degree, she has worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Perceptual Robotics at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (2017-2018, Pisa, Italy) and Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University (2019-2021, Stanford, USA).
In 2017, she received the Best Student Paper award at IEEE World Haptics Conference with one of her international conference articles, “Proxy-based haptic rendering for underactuated haptic devices”. Her main research interests are human-machine interaction, haptics, robotics, rehabilitation robots, and haptic-assisted virtual interactions.
