2015 International Neighbourhood Symposium

The CIES will host the 5th International Neighbourhood Symposium at Heybeliada, Turkey between Tuesday, 23 June and Sunday, 28 June 2015. This year’s Symposium will focus on “Leadership and Change in the Eastern Neighbourhood and the Mediterranean South”.

Promoting Civic Engagement and Good Governance through dialogue between Turkey and Iran

The CIES is launching a 10-month long project on “Promoting Civic Engagement and Good Governance through dialogue between Turkey and Iran.” The first meeting will be held at Kadir Has University in February.

2. Expert Task Force Meeting on the European Union and the Eastern Negihbourhood

The CIES, in cooperation with the GMF has established a Task Force to provide policy outputs and recommendations for an EU strategy for the Black Sea Region. The second meeting was held at German Marshall Fund's Berlin office.

New CIES Non-Resident Research Associates for 2014-2016

The CIES is pleased to present its three new non-resident research associates for 2014-2016. The three will be affiliated in various aspects of the Center’s work during this period as the CIES seeks to expand its areas of expertise and knowhow to meet the challenges of our rapidly changing world. 

Research on Greek-Turkish Relations
