The Department of American Culture and Literature is no longer accepting students.

Since it was founded in 1999, the Department of American Culture and Literature has used the study of literature, language, and related humanistic disciplines to equip students to understand not only the ideas, attitudes, and values of American culture, but those of their own culture and of others as well.  In our time as a department, we have graduated numerous undergraduate, masters and doctoral students.  Our students have gone on to pursue graduate degrees in the United States, United Kingdom and Europe.  We are also proud to have produced a Fulbright scholar.  Our graduates have gone on to find careers in teaching, government, international business, media, publishing and the management of various cultural institutions.
