In addition to candidates with professional degrees in architecture, urban design and landscape, the program invites candidates from all other relevant disciplines, who wish to conduct research on architectural/urban topics and practices.

Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their undergraduate grades, English proficiency (TOEFL or equivalent) and ALES points, but also and more importantly, their statement of purpose, reference letters, writing samples (papers, research reports, published articles etc.) and/or a portfolio of design work, research, documentation or exhibition projects. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview to be conducted by program faculty. Candidates admitted to the program will be able to apply to relevant KHas University scholarship funds.
