Announcements

MyLab-1 grading will be made by transmitting the students’ data from relevant platforms as of 09:00 am on 19 October 2017, Thursday. Students activities submitted after the deadline will not be graded.

The students who still have not enrolled in their class by registering the correct Course ID will not be able to be graded. Students enrolling in their class after the deadline will not be graded backward. Students who haven't enrolled in their class will not get grades even if they complete their activities online. Important information regarding Course IDs and MyLab regulations can be reached here or from the instructors. It is recommended that students check with their instructors if they are registered and enrolled in their class properly.

The contents that students are responsible consist of what they have covered in classes up to 18 October Wednesday, including that day. Students are responsible from the whole unit even if they don’t cover the whole unit in the class. Accordingly, the contents the students are responsible from are given below:

A1A2 level:

New Language Leader – Elementary: units 3,4,5,6,7. (5 units in total) (110 activities out of 314)

A2B1 level:

New Language Leader – Pre-Intermediate: units 1,2,3,4,5,6,7. (7 units in total) (160 activities out of 318)

B1B2 level:

New Language Leader – Intermediate: units 1,2,3,4,5,6. (6 units in total) (160 activities out of 365)

Pathways – Reading & Writing-2: units 1,3,4,7,8. (5 units in total) (65 activities out of 130)

MyLab-1 grades are calculated by summing and averaging all the grades the students get from contents covered. It is highly recommended to complete the contents properly, and try again till the highest possible score. For example, if you complete %90 of the activities and get an average of 90, your MyLab grade will be as (90 x 90) / 2000 = 4,50. Each books is calculated separately and the final grade is summed up. MyLab-1 grade will make up %25 of end-of-semester MyLab grade. The grades of each deadline (MyLab1-2-3-4) will be summed and students will get their final MyLab grades on SPARKS at the end of the semester.

All the data for MyLab grading and calculations will be taken from MyEnglishLab and MyELT, and students can see their performance on the system from Gradebook section.
