The Center for International and European Studies (CIES) organized the 4th Greek-Turkish Young Leaders Symposium (GTYLS) on Security. The Greek-Turkish Young Leaders Symposium (GTYLS) on Security included the participation of 15 Greek and 15 Turkish International Relations specialists (MA students, PhD candidates, young PhD scholars, and professionals), aged 22-35 years old, and Greek and Turkish experts that acted as speakers and trainers on 12-15 December 2018 at Kadir Has University in Istanbul in partnership with the Thessaloniki-based Navarino Network and Conflictus and the support of Friedrich Naumann Stiftung, and  NATO Public Diplomacy Division. Rhodes Model Regional Co-operation 2018

The Center for European and International Studies (CIES) served as a partner to the 9th edition of RhodesMRC (Rhodes Model Regional Co-operation) which took place in Rhodes, Greece, on 10 – 14 October 2018. This was the 8th consecutive year that the CIES supports the Rhodes MRC as one of its Academic Partners while the CIES Director serves on its Academic Board.
